We recently scored a couple of boxes of Donruss Americana. When we pulled this auto card (959/1250) of Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean and the world record holder in the Little People 100-meter dash with a time of 13.84 seconds), it reminded me of an experience I had at Rich Altman’s Orlando collectibles show a few years back . . .

Yes, that’s Karl Slover on the right, one of the original Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz. Slover played one of the persnickety members of the Lollipop Guild. I think that was his wife on the left. The guy in the middle . . . you figure it out. It’s all a little creepy to me, still.
