We’re having our winter this week in North Texas. Saturday was close to 80. Monday was three inches of snow. And now, we have this winter storm bearing down on us as of 2:15 p.m. Biggest threat is ice.

While meeting with the Wisconsin-based “(Re)tired Soles” shoe company, an ag
ing Favre shocked executives by storming out of the cheese-themed boardroom. “I’m not that old!” barked the Packers’ QB, as he grabbed a handful of Werther’s Original hard candy. On his way out, Favre also managed to snag one of the shoe prototypes being pitched to him that afternoon.
Boiling with rage, Favre pulled out a bayonet from his Civil War days and destroyed “The Grampa Favre Maxx.” Fortunately, for Fleer, he diced the comfortable loafer into swatch-sized pieces. Thanks to the antsy shoemaker and the obstinate Packer, we can now own a piece of the shoe that never was.
