What Would You Do? — The Rest of the Story
Remember this post about the re-colored A-Rod card? We asked readers what they would do if they had been the owner. Here’s what the actual owner really did at that 2001 show in Chicago:
Upon learning from BGS that the card was re-colored, he left the card in the sealed BGS toploader labeled as ”re-colored.” He then was able to sell the card — still in the sealed BGS toploaders and with full disclosure — to an exhibitor at the show for the same money he originally paid for the card on eBay.
We can only speculate what happened to the card from there.
