First Boxes! 2008 Press Pass Signature Series Box Break

Not due in shops until next Friday, May 9! Get a first look here.

Press Pass cards are printed at a plant in the Dallas area. So when Press Pass Football Brand Manager Nick Metijevich flew in from North Carolina for the pack out of 2008 Press Pass Signature Series, he stopped by Beckett HQ with some goodies, where he met burnt orange clad David Lee and the newly goateeless Tracy Hackler. Check out the vid for some behind the scenes stuff.

  1. President Obama Says:

I would love to see autographs of coaches in the press pass products. Signatures of Joe Paterno, Jim Tressel, Charlie Weis, etc… would definately improve the product dramatically.

  2. Andrew Harner Says:

I agree with the coaching autograph suggestion. However, I think the prodcut will remain strong even if they don’t incorporate that idea. I was curious to know why the guy from Press Pass never held any of his cards up to the camera? I don’t know why, but I couldn’t help but notice that.

press pass legends had coach autographs, i got a bobby bowden auto in that,,,would’ve rather got joe paterno, yay pennstate!!!!

  4. Cubsman23 Says:

What happened to Hackler’s face? He needs to grow back the facial hair!

  5. Card Biz in Crisis 2008 Says:

suprised any of the good cards made its way into the packs. Little known secret, the printer in Dallas, actually in the Garland area, has a load of cards from the past 6-8 years that never made its way into the packs. The same printer who brought us 799 01′ Albert Pujols Flair Legacy cards that says AUTHENTIC SIGNATURE on the bottom and are not autographed, is the one still doing the printing. Enjoy opening box upon box, just realize that if the cards are not stolen back door from the card companies they are kept and never put in packs by the printer.

Dude, what are you talking about?
