A quick look at some of my test collections on the new Beckett.com website. In the collection shown (called “Mess of a Collection”) I have cards in that are in multiple collections.
I have a collection called Houston Rockets, with 13,812 items in it. Some of those are ALSO in my “Mess of a Collection” collection, the top 3 cards listed in the picture. The top two are covered up right now so I could show a couple things I will get to next. For now, just look at the 2005 Exquisite NFL Logo Quad Auto #MVLG McNabb/Vick/ect.
It is in my Houston Rockets collection (red label), my Graded Cards collection (green label), and obviously my “Mess of a Collection,” because that’s what we are looking at. Under that card I have 2008 Bowman Chrome #BCP1 Max Sapp. That card is not in my Houston Rockets collection, but is in my Graded Cards collection and another collection called…2008 Bowman Chrome (original, huh?).
Now, to the box with the colors in it. Clicking the little icon next to “Currently Viewing: (whatever) collection” will bring up this box, wher
e you can color code your collection for easier viewing/sorting. Also, you can set each collection as public or private, currently I have this “Mess of a collection” collection set to private. Once I set it to public, others will be able to see my haves, wants, buy/sell and trade information.
Pretty good stuff!
This is where the “Contact Us” link will lead you. You can find most of this sort of information on the site now, but you have to hunt for all of it in different locations. I blurred the info just in case it was not active yet…too lazy busy to ask everyone I guess.

I have really liked the looks of the Organize feature through the beta testing. Lots of new features and tweaks. The new search parameters are great too.

Comment by ejahnke July 10, 2008 @ 5:17 pmOh, I see you have a ‘Contact Us’ on there now. I swear I have looked over the entire site and never seen a ‘Contact Us’ before. When we click on it, whom would we be contacting? People such as yourself or a support type team? Thanks.

Comment by XstreamINsanity July 11, 2008 @ 8:33 amI am not sure of the difference. Am I not supportive enough?
I will add in a photo of the page it goes to here at the bottom of this post in a little while, it’s a page full of information.
I am going to blur the contact info for now, I am not sure all of it is active yet.
Comment by ejahnke July 11, 2008 @ 1:40 pmYeah, you are supportive enough. However, I just wanted to know if we were going to talk to people who know something about trading and not someone who is there just to answer questions. While both get the job done, it’s great when someone who knows about trading and collectables can give suggestions rather than someone who knows and answer to a specific question. Then again, I’m lazy. :) Thanks.
