First look: 2009 Bowman Draft Picks Football by Chris Olds

Topps released preview images and product information for its 2009 Bowman Draft Picks football set on Wednesday.

The product is set to arrive in early May with one autographed rookie card and one Autographed Rookie Patch card per hobby Box. Standard packs will include 10 cards and carry a suggested retail price of $3 per pack. (There will be 24 packs per box and 12 boxes per case.)

Jumbo boxes will include three autographed cards per 12-pack box. The suggested retail price is $10 per pack. (Jumbos will include 32 cards per pack and cases are eight boxes.)

Chris Olds has collected sports cards and memorabilia since 1987. Before coming to Beckett Media, he wrote about the hobby for the Orlando Sentinel on his blog, SportsStuff, and for the San Antonio Express-News and The Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News. I think that the cards could be better but I do like the hobby boxes so I give it a 3/5
