Upper Deck released basic set information and preview images for its 2009-10 Black Diamond hockey set this week, a product that looks to be rich in its Rookie Cards and insert lineup.
Set for release in mid-December, every 24-pack hobby box of Black Diamond will include six Triple Diamond cards, two Quad Diamond cards, six Double Diamond cards, two quad-swatch jersey cards, two Horizontal Perimeter die-cut cards and one parallel card numbered to 100 or less.
Among the Rookie Cards, each box will deliver three Triple Diamond RC’s and a Quad Diamond RC. The insert lineup includes four jersey parallels — one signed and limited to just five copies — as well as Hardware Heroes die-cut cards, which will be found two per 12-box case.
Read more — and see additional images — after the jump.
Also to be found are Role-Reversal die-cuts (two per box) as well as uncut versions (one per two boxes) as well as Gemography autograph cards (one per two boxes) and Ruby, Gold and Platinum parallels.
