It’s been a year since anyone has pulled a Kevin Durant autograph card from a new product.
Fans of the Oklahoma City forward will only have to wait just a bit longer. Durant’s autographed cards will appear in Panini’s high-end 2010-11 Absolute Memorabilia Basketball, which is scheduled to release March 6.
Even though Panini already has five products out for the 2010-11 basketball season, none of them has had a Durant auto.

Durant has 326 autographed cards since 2007, but all of them have been in Upper Deck products. Durant is one of the most popular NBA players and certainly a big name in collecting. Finally, getting his signature back in circulation will make many collectors very happy.
Absolute Memorabilia yields a hit of an autograph or memorabilia card in every pack in a four-pack box. In addition to the four hits, each pack will have four inserts and one Retired Greats card numbered to 499 or less. Also, one of the hits will be a Rookie Premiere Materials Signature /499 or less.
There are 150 base cards with 15 short-print rookies and 35 retired greats. Even the base set makes for a fun collection – depending on which side you stand. There will only be 449 base sets available.
