While it left Beckett Grading Services not long after filming on Wednesday, the Stephen Strasburg SuperFractor from 2010 Bowman did make one other stop.
A flatbed scanner.
Here’s a closer look at the $16,400 card — front and back — as it rests inside a BGS slab. This is the highest-resolution image available of the well talked-about card.

Now that I look at it, I fully agree with the grade. Sorry for doubting you, BGS.
Comment by Adam Gellman June 24, 2010 @ 6:24 pmCentering is a 9????? I don’t think so.
Comment by Mark Duell June 24, 2010 @ 9:09 pmCentering alone…..that’s not a 9.5.
Comment by Anonymous June 25, 2010 @ 7:36 amI agree. A 9 for centering? Not even close. Maybe an 8 at best. Centering on that card should have killed that 9.5 grade.
