The Prospect of 2010-11 Heroes and Prospects by tolentinotown

By Andrew Tolentino | Assistant Editor

Fortifying its late-January release with proven icemen like Pavel Bure and Steve Yzerman, In The Game claims that 2010-11 Heroes and Prospects “…could be the best…ever!” AHL, CHL and International contenders bolster the checklist with the prospect of stardom in this pairing of hopeful and established hockey heroes.

Doing what they do best, ITG officials bring the game to the collector with spectacular game-used memorabilia cards from the Top Prospects Game, the Subway Series and other on-the-rink action. These, along with National Pride, Net Prospects, Prospect Trios, Quad Patch, Complete Jersey inserts justify the chase. The memorabilia-focused manufacturer even sweetens the deal with autographed versions of some of its game-used inserts.

Landing one in every eight packs on average, even the autographs sans material support the hype behind 2010-11 Heroes and Prospects. While Calder Cup Winner, Memorial Cup Winner, Class of 2011, 75th Anniversary of the AHL and 100 Years of Card Collecting lack those sought-after attributes, they definitely carry their own weight in this product.

Awaiting hands on hobby opinion, ITG’s Heroes and Prospects releases on Jan. 20, 2011.
