A rumor has surfaced from a source inside the Kontinental Hockey League that a North American card manufacturer has approached them about developing a trading card product … as early as this season.
A deal has yet to be announced, so both sides are keeping silent to this point, to the point that the manufacturer is being kept a secret.
With the amount of talent in the KHL, this news should have hockey fans everywhere drooling.

Hello,
as far as i know there are team issued card sets for Dinamo Riga (~72 card set, 2 cards of Marcell Hossa, Mark Hartigan, Martin Prusek and Matt Ellison), Avangard Omsk (Jagr, Klepis, Rosa, Svitov) and Sibir Novosibirsk (Ciernik, Lawson). There is also an unnoficial KHL 100 card set called “Sport collection”.
