The visual mystery continues.

Upper Deck released the basic product breakdowns for a pair of its 2010 baseball card sets on Friday — Goudey and SP Authentic — but once again has not given any indication of what its cards will look like as it enters a new era as only a manufacturer of only partially licensed baseball cards.

Goudey will arrive in mid-March with one memorabilia card and two autographs per box. The base set will consist of  200 standard cards, 20 short-printed retired player cards, 40 short-printed black and white cards and 40 short-printed Sports Royalty cards.

The set will include the Upper Deck debut of Pete Rose along with
“Shoeless” Joe Jackson cards as well cards of Joe DiMaggio and Roberto Clemente. Sports Royalty Autographs and Exquisite cards will be found one per case.

SP Authentic, which will arrive in mid-April, will include three autographs per box — two of those being By the Letter autographed patch cards.

Its base set will include 200 standard cards, 40 horizontal SPs,  10 Future Watch cards, 20 Faces of the Game cards, 12 Future Watch Flashbacks, 30 Future Watch Autographs and 10 Future Watch Mystery Rookie Redemptions.

Among the inserts will be the return of Holoview F/X cards (two per box). Each box will include four serial-numbered cards and 12 short-prints.

Like Goudey, Exquisite cards will be found one per case.
